Anyone re hubs

Just an ask really.
I have DT swiss H1900 on my canyon, (27.5 rear, 35 mm)

Has anyone had problems with their hubs wearing with the 3 paw and have they upgraded to the 2 Star rachet sytem, if so are they better ?

i broke a cb xd hub but it was the bearings that went and turned in to mush so it would change gear all on its own lol.

imo the ratchet system would be better but as it is a ebike not sure if it will make much difference at all tbh other than the noise it makes.

like everything with moving parts it needs a clean and lube inside the hub so id check both the bearings and paws for wear and see if thats a problem or not.

Not fussed as quite like a louder hub (he can hear me from afar when we are out and about his is the 350 H 1700's).

you got 2 years warranty to kill it tho and get a new one cb even offers a hole back wheel if i could not get the xd hub off.

Very quiet indeed, much prefer a bit of noise if honest. BTW your bike's looking sweet .
