Any members up for a challenge to get to the Bristol show 10th June purely by bike..... using Chargepoints when necessary ?

Take a look on CycleCharge | Charge on the move at the google map facility and see where your nearest chargepoints would be and if theres a gap where you would need one, maybe get out there beforehand and sign up a suitable one .
It would focus us on getting more chargepoints and be good fun.

We will be having a stand at the show to drum up publicity...... maybe if enough of you fancy giving it a go we could award a prize for the longest distance travelled.

Maybe a trade member amongst you might like to donate something for the prize, or if not I could get a cap or something printed with Cyclecharge on it .......that should REALLY tempt you all ?

I am hoping to, but should go along the Railway Path from Bath, and need no recharge.

Thats a lovely ride Roger, I did it 2 years ago from Bristol to Bath and back.
Next I want to go further along the Avon/Kennet canal.

You could still look out for possible Chargepoints though..... pick up some info from our stand and
try them on the way back

Yes, I've done it a couple of times. It has the great advantage of places along the way to get a cup of tea!
I've been along the canal from Bath as far as Bradford-on-Avon - that's a nice ride too - but have not ventured further east yet.

I think my next trip is going to be camping at the Barge Inn @Honeystreet to go cycling along the canal.......sounds like a fun place.....IF you dont get abducted by aliens

Yes, with staff like these, that must be a risk.

It's no doubt because of all those ley lines that criss-cross Wiltshire and Somerset.
