Bafang 250w mid drive

Hi .after giving this some considerable thought I've decided to go with converting my old bike.
It's an old Carrera Kraken 20" frame 1990s vintage..I would like to fit a bafang mid drive system and want to keep it road legal. Is there anywhere in the uk doing a good motor and battery deal and what sort of size battery would I need..I'm sure there are members out there that have already gone down this route..
But any information would be much appreciated.

the only road legal Bafang mid drive is the BBS01B marked with 250W rating.
It draws 15A max, so any 36V battery with more than 10AH will work well with it. Crank drives tend to use a bit more battery because people tend to ride faster with them. Typically, you get about 25-30 miles with a 10AH battery. You do get more range with larger capacity battery.
I supply the BBS01B with 13AH, 15AH and 17AH batteries.
