Hi everyone, just got my new ebike with Bafang BBS engine 250W and 55Nm (dont know the exact type yet but I ordered a bafang cable), and I'm bit confused how it supposed to work. I feel it doesn't have that smoothness of driving comparing to my mate bike, which go Bafang 250W 100Nm, but just want to be sure.
I wanna asku you guys what you think. First of all: the start is quite smooth, bike is gathering the speed all right and then it kicks suddenly, like a turbo car at some point of rpm.
The problem is when I stop peddaling for few seconds while riding, then when I start peddaling back again there is nearly no power. It switches off but when I need to speed up again I have to wait maybe like 8-10 second before it slowly gets back to full power. Is it normal for this engine? Which parameter in bafang programming software is responsible for faster engine reaction after stop peddaling?
