Is there enough scope for adjustment on that Myrrycle one to cope with the end of the bars pointing back so much?
Dan, the issue of mirror fitment has come up several times in the forum and I vacillated over the matter for some time as I really didn't think the end-fit type of mirror would work with swept-back bars.
For me, the Myrrycle product works well and is easily adjusted. I have mine sufficiently tight so as not to move through any vibration but not so tight that I can't move it inboard to pass obstacles or traverse narrow paths, gateways, etc.
The field of vision is good and I like the fact that it is better engineered than some though I'm sure there are others which would serve just as well
To summarise: Yes, it is compatible with Dutch-style bars and as I have stated before, it is the most useful addition I have made to my bike. As for fitting the product, it took me no more than 20 minutes and that includes removing the grip, cutting a neat hole in the end, replacing it, followed by the mirror insertion and adjustment.
