battery builders

hi folks, i have acquired a decent amount of unused laptop batteries (48 x 18650's) and also have a small collection of used but good 18650's (30ish)

is there anyone on here that could build a battery for me? id like to do myself but cant afford a micro spot welder and dont want to blow myself up

im in nottinghamshire uk, would happily pay some amount for the work, help out if possible and deliver / collect localish

its for a 24v bike

thanks although this look like they sell their own stuff, i doubt they'd be interested in building one from my bits

no i have that machine and i tested some i already had but not the ones i got recently (48 of them today) but i was hoping there would be someone on here that builds them regularly that would have better equipment that doesn't have to test each battery individually and can do the whole shebang if i provide materials

i can check that all the batts are capable of charging up to 4.5v and ditch (properly dispose of) ones that cant

they should be at 4.2v or you are over charging them as thats what my nitcore charger cuts them out at.

just email them as they make custom packs anyway and have all the best stuff to do it with.

its just how much they will charge to do it for you

yeah sorry meant 4.2v (just typed 5 again!)

ill give em a go, id be happy if they just did the welding part to be honest, im wanting to pay sub £100 though (sub £50 if pos ) otherwise i may as well buy a new battery or my own spot welder
