I've been reading the thread on towing bracket carriers. But I need my hitch for my trailer when camping. Does anyone know of a trailer mounted carrier for two e-bikes? Internet searches have only produced items from S.Africa or Australia, or specialist trailers.
I have thought of fabricating and mounting a dis-mountable roof bar substitute to the trailer, and fitting it with a quality pair of upright carriers (Thule?). I assume they will fit 1" square bar.
My current carrier fits to the spare wheel on a Vitara. It took one e-bike and one hybrid, last year, but it's only rated at 40Kg and I think 2 e-bikes may be taking the p*** - even with the batteries out.
Any suggestions?
