Bike goes faster on throttle than on the highest pedal assist setting

I have a converted bike, the parts of which I got from BMSBattery. It has the 48v Q128h motor, and the "sine wave controller for 09 case" and accompanying S-LCD3 that can be found at this link: https://bmsbattery.com/controller/698-sine-wave-controller-for-09-case-controller.html

I've noticed that the bike has more power and goes faster on throttle mode than on the highest pedal assist setting, which is level 5. On my previous Woosh Big Bear bike there appeared to be no difference in power and speed between throttle mode and the highest pedal assist level.

Does anyone know if there's anything I could adjust to get the same speed on assist level 5 as what the throttle provides? Maybe a setting in the LCD? My bike has 24 inch wheels and goes at about 16.5 mph on throttle, but only about 14.5 mph on assist 5. That's 2 mph of difference. If there's some way I could increase the speed on assist 5 it would be ideal.

LCD 3 has a speed setting which is adjustable, switch on and press +/-together for up to 10 secs then scroll through the menu where you can up the speed limit ( can be set to km/h or mph).

Other wise it may be down to your cadence rate or gearing that prevents you from matching throttle in PAS 5.

Controllers have different programming BMSB ones using S series lcd are KT (Kunteng) ) whilst Woosh use Lishui (LZDS).
I find both are different in use, with my KT's I can sense the difference of the 5 pas levels on the flat. However with the lzds I can only sense the difference between 1 & 2 on the flat, only on inclines do I feel pas 3- 5 as the extra torque /amps kick in.

There are a couple of settings that can affect that. The first one is P3 current control or speed control. Which one are you using? Then there's C14 which is some sort of power adjustment which operates when P3 =1 (current control).

Thanks for your replies. The bike was originally in the P3=1 setting, but I changed it to P3=0 (speed control). I then tested the bike but the power and speed in power assist 5 is still the same as it was previously. It is still slower than in throttle mode.
