My son lives and works in Winchester and rides a Cannondale T2000. I live in Alton and work in Basingstoke and ride my assisted CX700. He stayed in Alton last night so this morning I had a game of bike tag. The first 10 miles or so we have the same route. He set off on his 18.5 mile trip and I set off a bit later due to some messing about with my gadgets! .. I caught him after about 3 miles on the first hill which I flew up. I stopped at the top to make some more adjustments and he passed me. I set off again, however this time it was mainly flat and down hill. This time it obviously took longer to catch him which took me off my route and onto his! .. eventually tagged him near Arlesford at which point I bid him farewell, turned next right and headed for Basingstoke.
