bosch battery cells

can i just buy new ones and replace the old ones in the batt?

just seems a waste to throw the old batt away or is there anywhere that can do it cheaper than buying a new 1

I do remember there being some suggestion that the BMS detects tampering & shuts the whole thing down so the whole pack can't be used again.

Don't know if it is true or propaganda however something to research before you start changing anything.

Probably but only by someone a whole lot cleverer than me. Those BMSs built into the Bosch batteries are like mini computers!

It's something that I remember being said a year or two ago & just mentioning it because you wouldn't want to completely ruin a battery if it's got some life left in it.

1 thing that pee me off with bosch is there is no way to get batt or new motor parts ect if it goes wrong out of warranty.

is there any 3rd party batts for the gen 2 as i cant find any yet.
