Are you skilled in soldering and mounting small parts? Or do you have a friend who is? If yes to either, you may possibly be able to repair what you have.....
Apparently Bosch are not very "customer friendly" and do not like selling spares to just "anyone".
There have been quite a few posts on Bosch's unfriendly manner(s) here, especially with regard to spares. And some other bike web sites too have the same impression..
I think of Bosch, as the Trump of the e-bike fraternity!!!

those displays also have a internal rechargeable batt that is soldered to the pcb inside and tend to die around 3-4 years old.
