I think you need to explain what's going on and which brakes you have. What happened? Don't tell me it was "the dog ate my brakes" again, or was it the rabbit?
Either the caliper or the lever or both will have the maker's name, and most hoses will have too. Use that make. If completely unidentifiable then take the old hose and fitting to a bike shop who should be able to tell you what you need.
If reduced to guesswork, I'd guess Shimano first, and unless it is a 4 piston brake it will likely be the BH59.
Shimano also make the BH90 hose which has a slightly smaller internal diameter. Easily identified by the fact that the BH90 uses a silver coloured barb and the BH59 uses a brass coloured barb. Olives are the same size for both.

Wow,
Thanks for yr interest, apologies for scant details.
Bikes a wisper 905 crossbar torque 2019 purchased in 2021 already with hydraulic disc brakes. Wisper on brake lever, no markings as such on brake piston. Silver threaded plugs into brake housing.
