we are not leaving the EU yet.
we have up to 11-April to decide how long to ask for a new extension.

Meanwhile, the revoke A50 petition currently stands at 4,252,875 @ 13:07
At current progress, it'll hit 5 millions tomorrow. TM can't ignore it anymore.
its heading for 4.5 million. TM has a very impressive ability to remain in complete blanket denial of all facts. take the multiple attempts to pass her plan after the kind of embarrassing defeats that would have left trump in turmoil. im afraid power will have to (and be) taken from her without consent (and in five years time she will no doubt, like blair, be proclaiming her complete and utter innocence).

I'm guessing something spiteful was said about me from our resident bile merchant.

My only regret is I should have ignored it months ago!
Wrong again! how does he do it?
I simply pointed out he is doing himself no favours by hiding his face
while making public comments that can be criticised.

You asked him a question...….not very sharp was it
Truly you don't read what is front of you, I didn't ask him a question did I?
No wonder you get confused easily, I pointed out the flaw in his decision !
here it is again
"
You are slow aren't you?
Everyone else can, now think what that means, he has no idea what is being said about him and his comment in public.
Smart move yes?"

The question was quite obviously aimed at you!
Do try to keep up

Well it certainly confused one of us.
I'm sorry that wasn't my intent, and on the other post it was a rhetorical question.
Putting all that aside I am interested in your viewpoint, no one has actually offered a leave view from a socialist viewpoint on here, and I am curious as to what you believe the advantages of Brexit can be.
This is a genuine question, as to my eyes there really isn't any socialist agenda we need to leave the EU to employ, after all both Germany and France have nationalised railways, so nationalisation can be done inside the EU.

I take it you are a Jeremy Corbyn supporter ? he has never been a fan of the EU.
I know you don't agree but I have watched the likes of Barnier and Junker being interviewed
and they have utter contemp for us (and some other countries such as Greece)
I woudn't trust them as far as I could throw them.
Don't get me wrong I don't trust the Tories either or Tony Blair but I get the chance to vote them out.
At the risk of repeating myself, I only had the one chance to vote out of the EU.

My view on today's marches and the petition?
They are likely to be ignored, but there is one positive point, the notion that the leave faction would raise hell if Brexit is cancelled bombed with Farages march.

That could actually affect the outcome where MP's are dithering to name but two (guess who)

Actually no, I'm not a Jeremy Corbyn supporter, his views are too parochial for me, Idon't care for Juncker either, but then he was a character that many people in the EU didn't like either, and Barnier simply carried out his function in a way that was expected.
I really don't get where you get this notion they hold us in contempt from, we played them for fools for years, insulted them by allowing our pet baboon Farage to act like an imbecile in the EU parliament, and you accuse them of contempt?
And you get the same chance to vote out MEP's as you do MP's so that baffles me too.
And Greece wasn't treated with contempt and is doing rather better now..
So is it just the fact that there are a couple of personalities you dislike has made you vote out?
That seems a pretty scant reason, when they too are only elected for a term of office.
Is that worth the enormous cost we have already incurred and those to come?
What advantages are we going to enjoy from Brexit?
I presume what you don't like is that there are obviously many Meps elected in other countries that you can't vote for or against?
What's the difference with the ones voted for in the UK parliament from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland? you have no control over them being elected either do you?

A day to remember 23/03/2019
19:20 and the petition stands at 4,581,591 signatures
An interesting point to note
21,541 signed in Corbyn's patch that's 19.71%
10,249 signed in Mays patch................... 9.8%

It would be intriguing to know what the EU and indeed the rest of the world make of this day ,with a Million on the march and 4.5 million registering a protest against Brexit

When the 'best' we can send to representative us is Farage and May (and her numerous appointed Brexit bods) - I'm surprised EU didn't blow up prechambered Chunnel years ago...

The Express has decided to wipe it's memory clean about yesterdays events
"
BREXIT BETRAYAL: Government already preparing to REJOIN EU - ‘They have COMPLETE contempt'
WHITEHALL departments are already putting in plans for Britain to rejoin the European Union (EU) even before it has left.

I should jolly well hope they have! better to have a plan than not, that should be obvious after this debacle.
