This is an educational video. No music or lyrics. 5 mins before this video I had and fixed a puncture. To do this I removed the rear wheel as its a quick release. After the repair I forgot to reconnect the V brake (I always do that!) .. anyway .. this is what happened next:

My wheel has suffered from abuse so warranty was not considered. I've scored the rim with my brakes due to lack of rubber, broken spokes by hitting pot holes at 45 mph, let salty water in through numerous punctures which have caused the spokes to corrode ....should I try to have it replaced under warranty? .. When you buy a bike is the whole bike normally covered by warranty?

Spokes are considered a consumable item but a few electric bikes seem to have had design issues where lots break even if it's not abused.
I had loads break on my 2008 905 and the retailer couldn't fix it (wouldn't spend enough money but they did put a lot of effort in), fortunately Wisper picked up the gauntlet as they wanted to improve the design of the next batch so I got it fixed.
Spokes are a commonly misunderstood area (by all parties in my experience) and it's very hard to guess why he's getting the problem. If Izips aren't known for this problem then he's probably hit a pothole or just got a lemon. If spokes repeatedly break then the whole lot need replacing and preferably built with a better rim to make it all stronger, if the wheel has a hub motor in it I'd recommend a bike shop with pedelec experience like SJS Cycles. Unfortunately that solution will cost about £100.

I took the advice from my lbs and now have a new wheel. Nothing special. £50.
I've asked him to fix my old wheel and will use it as a spare or visa versa! ...
I did ask about Warranties and he suggested that they only usually cover the frame.
