Good Day Pedalelecers
I am am one of the many wrinkly Boomers residing in Aberystwyth on the west coat of Cymru (Wales). Cymru is, of course a land of Dragons and hills which makes for interesting cycling. My 20 year old 6 speed a la cart Brompton just cannot cope with the gradients here so I decided to splash the Kids Inheritance on a T line 12 speed (given that there are no kids!). Additionally I have had it painted and had Tony Castles, of Nano fame, add electic power assist.
The result has been very pleasing and with a couple of custom addition this should be exactly the right bike for a person like me living here. However there are a couple of Problems. Firstly Tony never got around to finishing the fitting of the running lights and secondly the motor system has just failed with the error code 03. That is "Motor Hall Sensor Error".
Unfortunately Tony C, who is also a disabled wrinkly Boomer, is sinking uder the weight of running Nano on his own. His ususal support team have gone off to France for the summer! Thus any chance of speedy assistance from that quarter is probably zero.
Fitting the lights is not really an issue for me, but I am seeking a connector to mate with the socket that Tony has provided. Does anybody recognise it and know where I can get connectors? (See picture below)
My second question is whether anybody knows of a competent electric bike shop that could fix the 03 error for me, bearing in mind that that Aberystwyth is 2.5 hours drive from Shrewsbury, for example and hald a day from Swansea.
