Changing that ring up to a 52 from 46 has made a vast difference. Turned it from a fun town bike to something that can be enjoyably ridden around the lanes. Need to pick up a new chain as the granny gear is now stretching it a bit and if I do like the Powertrek and try the 55T on it the chain will definitely be too short.
Just waiting for the 55T ring for my Powertrek that will be up from 52T-55T. It`s almost perfect with the 52 but I reckon those three more teeth will put the top gear out of pedelec and into a flat and downhill overdrive and put 5th gear where my top gear was before.
