Many thanks to Lloyd [Clarkson] of Raleigh Electric Bikes. He and the lovely Emma dropped off a 2nd hand Torq 1 today----all for the cost of the wheel build I need. The new bike runs very well and and accelerates faster than my present steed - this coupled with decent running gear [old faithful's is knackered ] makes for an excellent deal.
Lloyd contacted me out of the blue with the offer after I enquired about parts in another thread and then arranged delivery himself. We had a quick chat---he really knows his stuff and previewed a couple of Raleigh electrics which were also in his van--very nice compact machines.
I also received 4 !!! chargers [li-on] Anybody interested in a spare please p.m
postage costs only---I will also have 2 Torq 1 motors available - again postage only---one of the motors has no connectors.
