Evening, Throttle Jockeys!

Been reading about rear-wheel puncture repairs, and think I'll try a Cobra inner tube for £11.99. They're like a straight snake that you link together with out having to remove zee dreaded wheel! Anyone tried 'em?

Ta, alex! I'll have a look at those! Wonder if they do them in 20in?

My pal's mentioned kevlar tyres. I'll investigate those too. Blimey, all these ideas!

Maybe the best solution is my trusty 'Network of Girlfriends, Each 20 Miles Apart' idea. As well as providing battery-charging, they could just come out and pick up me and punctured bike at the roadside. Sadly, I've only enrolled one girfriend so far! :D

Sadly not in 20" - it's just 26" or 700C (28"/29er).

A decent tyre should help - the Tour version which I've used and was great isn't available for 20" wheels but the same principles of construction are used in this one :

Network of girlfriends 20 miles apart sounds fun. You'd be a busy boy .... if you didn't get the tyres !
