Hi , just joined this forum ! I’m a cyclist and motorcyclist and I’m looking to combine the two ! nothing stupid, I’ve been looking around and I’m finding it a bit of a minefield! I don’t want to spend a fortune I was wondering about converting a hard tail Marin b17 2007 to electric, it’s basically so myself and my wife can share it ! Any suggestions and points in the right direction would be much appreciated! Many thanks Russ

The most important thing is what you are going to use it for, and you and your wife's approximate weights and the hilliness where you want to ride. Next most important (and related) is whether you want it to be legal to ride on the road and off-road with the same freedom you can a regular bike.

Quite likely a 250w geared rear hub kit from a seller with good customer service (eg Woosh) will be a good fit, but it totally depends on the answers to the points above.
