Hi All.I have had a problem with my Freego Eagle ignition key for a while(you could turn it off and then come back a few hours later and it was still on with no key in it and it was all loose?? In the barrel ??)so on these few days off I had a look at the problem and found that the top of the battery pack has cracked and left a hole in the top of it which in turn has made the ignition barrel move about in its casing !! I have as a temp measure put silicon in the cracks and the hole to prevent any water ingress and will cover it with plastic if it rains,The battery was a new replacement last year as the old one was shot after an accident I had after which it wouldn't charge and cost me £450 so not cheap.I know the battery has a 2 year warranty but unsure if this would be covered by the warranty ?? Or if I could just get the top plastic cover!!.i can assure everyone that I have not dropped ,knocked,or mistreated the battery in any way but not sure where I would stand!! But just want a bit of advise really.
Regards Steve.
