Went for the pedal assist with LCD and pannier battery. Had a few problems fitting I.e had to make the forks wider file the drop outs deeper busted the bottom braket lock washer only plastic so had to get a whole new bottom bracket so what I thought would take a weekend has taken 3 weekends and a lot of back and fourth to the bike shop. With the LCD pedal assist you can ajust what speed the motor cuts out at I.e factory preset is 15 MPH I've managed to do it so it doesn't cut out until 19mph won't go any higher though but pritty good though.the pannier battery is good as you can hide it under a pannier bag done 25miles and the battery is reading half full.

That's interesting, I have throttle only, no lcd, and mine also doesn't cut out till I reach 19 mph.

That's very interesting, I'm just in the process of buying one of these for my bike and was thinking if opting for the LCD so I could get that little extra assistance but now I think I'll just try throttle only for now and upgrade to pedal assist if it doesn't work out. Cheers.
