I have the large 20" frame revolver with a 9ah battery. This is the third summer of owning this bike.I have done approx. 1000 miles. At 75 kg and 33 inch instep I find this bike works ok for me although much taller people would find it cramped. My old bike was a 22" frame. The seat is not comfortable but I bought a foam cover for £8.00 in Tesco...big help. I also found my wrists a little painful (getting older ) so have ordered a long adjustable head stem. £16.00.I drive mostly on low power and the longest journey I have done is 35 miles with some battery left. More usually I do a 5 or 10 mile round trip to a local pub, and occasionally a 20 mile round trip to work which uses about half the battery, I do like to put in some effort though. I haven't tested the mileage on full power but I think I read 13 miles on the cyclotricity web site. The battery is not noticeably weaker in the 3rd year. I usually charge it at 1/2 capacity and store it over the winter at 3/4 capacity, giving it a 20 minute boost every 6 weeks or so. The motor is a front hub and three power levels, 1 and 2 being quite close and 3 a big boost for those harder hills. I find 250 watts perfectly adequate for my everyday needs in fact on low power I usually am using much less. . My average speed without an e bike is probably about 7-8 mph..with e bike 12-13. The cycle parts on this bike are standard Chinese mountain bike stuff.. not the greatest quality but adequate especially if you are prepared to fettle it yourself. It wont take hard off road use but I just did 26 miles on gravel forest trails at aviemore last week...was a hoot. Ive just spent a day servicing it and found wear on the front chainring but the bottom bracket ,headset and rear gears were all ok just needed greased and adjusted.Overall would I recommend this bike .Absolutely..If you are on a budget or just want to dip your toe in the water to try out e biking but do be prepared to keep it fettled. Hope this is help to anyone considering one.
Forgot to mention the led controller can be adjusted up to 20mph(off road only of course ) more speed less mileage or down a bit say 13 mph increases mileage depending what you wish.
