I have been given a new Dahon Mu N360 folder. I need to know if there is a conversion kit out that does the job.
The IMPORTANT thing is I do want to get involved in any fettling, fiddling or DIY. I want to deliver it to conversion company and receive back a working electric bike. If it can be done I can then sell my
Agattu C11 to finance it.

This is the bike

it looks quite straightforward for BBS01 crank drive kit + rear rack 15AH battery. Total cost about £650 for parts. The kit is plug and play, most bike shops or mobile mechanics can do this. I reckon they'd charge you about £75 labour.

For that sort of money, you can buy a ready made electric folding bike, which will probably be just as good, plus it'll have a dealer's guarantee.

Yes, does look like a BBS01 would fit pretty easily - or a front hub Q100H 328rpm. The front hub approach would take a bit more work to do - parts would be cheaper but more labour I guess. Although depending on how soon it is needed I'd probably sell the Dahon and back the Jivr on Kickstarter - £699 for the next 23 hours until the campaign is over, anticipated delivery in September.

Dahons normally have narrow forks, which make it difficult to fit a decent front hub-motor.

Dahon 20" bikes have proprietary rigid forks with 76mm dropouts.
You can spread them a bit to fit 83mm motor but I wouldn't want to recommend that.
