Disposal of eBike batteries - where ?

So if you have an eBike battery that you need to dispose of, its beyond repair etc, where do you do it ?

Council re-cycle centre ?

Most councils recyling centres should be able to take it for recyling.

If wants to totally render the battery useless/dead chuck it in a bucket of saline water..

Thanks, I have a trip planned to the local re-cycling centre in the next week or so, I will report back on what happens.

It had already been in a container that was full of water, I will check the charge status and chuck in a bit of salt.

Where did you get that from? A lithium battery can explode if you throw it in salt water.
