Hi everyone,

I am new to e-bikes and I wondered if anyone had experience with using e-cargo bikes on hills? I make many short journeys with my toddler and I would love to ditch the car and use a bike instead. The only issue is that I live on a steep hill and while currently I can just about get up it on a standard bike adding a toddler is just out of the question. I would love to be able to take her out myself so would an e-cargo, I am thinking of a longtail, give a decent boost to get up the hill with my toddler or shopping?

Thanks
Ellen

The torque sensor mid drive bikes will be able to but only if you can pedal hard enough to get the max assist out of them other wise a hub bike conversion with 5 pas levels will be able to.
Buying blind on an expensive unusual bike would be silly so ideally you need to test ride one preferably up a hill.
