I got some exciting news today. I'm going to be on the Gadget show. Something to do with electric bikes. I don't know all the details yet other than that I understand filming will be on Tuesday. More info to follow, when I know what's happening. I wonder which presenters I'll get to meet?

A real coincidence happened. I was in the Telford branch of Halfords today talking with one of the bike technicians. I mentioned the Gadget show, and he told me that he did the conversion on that Cytronex bike and attended the filming of that race.

Those old Tonxin motors were not very powerful. I'm not surprised that the roadie won. It would be a different situation today if they used a modern kit like a nice Q100H at 48v and 20A. The race would be no contest.

Nope, the Aldi one in the 1st photo was indeed borrowed from Cyclezee, the one in the 2nd photo was borrowed from Steve your next door neighbour, I think it might be on backwards....the helmet, not your head

Given your experience I think they'd be silly not to offer you a job on their technical team.
