Electric bikes win the 2010 Pikes Peak (no surprises)!

As you say, no surprise, but by a very handsome margin. I wouldn't expect such a margin, if any, with pro level hill climbers versus our legal e-bikes, but the US e-bikers go for much higher powers.

I suppose it was those two Optibikes flying back down first that won those first two places, the top versions of those have moped like power.

Just took a look at those results and there's someone completing it on a Unicycle...
Admitadly his doing it on his own. But seriously?

maybe I'd create an electric unicycle and tackle the hills. Less weight and all power. Battery in the back pack and watch me go!
