Not exactly a bike item, but probably an indicator on how electric powered vehicles are getting noticed. BBC breakfast news Monday, showed the car departing from London and are moitoring it's progress.

I wonder if, just for once one of these 'selling' exercises expose the likely costs of a replacement fuel tank (sorry, battery!)for a car, as some of us bike riders have discovered to our horror.
My 3 year old lightly used Torq rests 'comatosed' until I can afford a new battery...what a battery capable of driving even a small car will cost nobody (certainly not the TV presenters/enthusiasts) has so far said. Well unless you count Mr Clarkson of Top Gear, who mentioned the battery for the Tesla? car was £90,000.! Can't wait for Friday!
