1800 USD ?! Crikey thats alot of money considering you dont get any gears, brakes or handlebars.

So you cant move unpowered - not good in an emergency

1000w motor and a a 2.5ah battery gets you 10miles. Hmm, have serious doubts there and at 12.5kg it weighs as much as a Jerry Simon titanium ebrompton and more than some cytronex bikes

Balancing - i'm sure it works but only up to a point. A sharp blast of wind or fast evasive manuovere would have you on the floor and run over

Lets not even talk about potholes

In short - its a rich Californian kids toy for cruising up the beach and not a serious commuter option !
