As per the title folks. Size 26". 2.3 inches wide or thereabouts preferred. I would ask for advice on any relatively wide and knobbly tyre as I use the bike 'off road' a lot. I use slime inner tubes.

Much obliged. :)

No idea why you think that you need to go as wide as 2.3 for your riding. If I were running 26" tyre sizes again, my first choice of tyre would be Panaracer XC Fire Pro in 2.1 sizing.

It'll cope with the riding that you do with ease, and much more beyond. It is pointless spending more money than you need to.

Bad old days of unreliable BH ownership, photos shown to prove the point about the tyres. Bike fitted with Panaracer XC Fire Pro tyres in 2.1 size.

Ah well, I just bought the one for now. I'll bear your info in mind for the future. Cheers. :)

Thankfully, the weather's taken a turn for the better, at the moment.

For my bike maintenance skill level, this was a bit of a mission. Mainly due to it being the back wheel. Fortunately, I managed to get it done. It was fine when tested too. :)

It looks like you've got no drip loop on your motor wire. If it goes up as it exits, water will go in.
