Having attended the Motorcycle show today, I popped across for a gander at the Cycle Show in the opposite hall.

Some very expensive hardware was on offer, £240 for a front wheel!! Some very nice bikes, but I don't think they would last more than a few miles on the roads around here. Very strong bias towards the top end of the sporty type of bike.

Saw only one stand selling E-Bikes, they were A2B Metro dealers I guess. Shame really, as I was hoping to bump into some of the chaps from here. There was a plethora of 'cyclesport lifestyle' trinket type stuff, often at sky high prices. I did engage a couple of traders in banter, but on admitting I rode an E-bike, there was a measurable change of emphasis, and their E-contempt was thinly veiled indeed.

I think I'll stick to my E-bike, all things considered.

I think a big bag is a very useful item at any show Clockwise. There were a few folk handing out bike holiday brochures, but I didn't spend too long in there. The crumpet was much better in the motorcycle show!!

Just starting out second of four days at the show. I must say the test track is one of the best of any show I have exhibited at. The track has a straight 200 metres long, all of it is indoors. Those offering test bikes include A2B, Ansmaan, Momentum, Gocycle, Wheelezee, Moustache, Kudos. The London Electric Bike Company also has static displays of KTM and Haibike, including the new Kudos 29er.
