Being my battery can only now work on the flat for about 10 miles going at 10mph, it does not like being stressed, but may have some life left.

I am now contemplating a replacement, with either a new Ezee battery or a Ping or Cammy Life PO4 battery from China.

I will retain the original battery till it runs out of power

Now I have to pedal quite hard to keep the bike going and this can be difficult as a run out of puff!!

My ezee is pedelic only, and I am looking at a way to convert by placing a suitable switch on the handlebars so I can switch from pedelic to throttle only to give my legs a rest.

The pedelic ring sensor on the crank seems to be a Hall Effect sensor; it has small circular magnets placed around the circumference of the ring.

The pedelic function only works when you pedal forwards, not when you back pedal

Has anyone any ideas or information on how this can be done?

Mussels,

What I mean is if I cycle forwards slowly, the crank sensor kicks in and I can use the throttle to travel fast, but I still have to pedal, all be it very slowly just to kid the sensor.
No effort is required, just a slow pedal.
