eZee Raptor

Below is a photo of the final prototype of a new full suspension MTB from eZee called Raptor which is currently being displayed at the Tiapei International Bike Show.
Production will start sometime in April and it will be available with 11, 14 and 17Ah downtube mounted batteries.
The full specification is not finalised yet but will be published in due course.

It's about time Ezee updated their bikes. That one looks like a stormer. I hope it's not too expensive. Do you know anything about the motor?

All I can say about the Raptor motor right now is that it's electric
eZee have been planning this bike for a while and it will be high spec.
They have also been developing a new direct drive motor in collaboration with ebikes.ca.

Hang on a minute, does high spec mean expensive? Please don't say competitively priced. We want to know if we need to suspend decisions on other bikes and wait for the e-bike of the year. Will this one swing the market back from crank-drives? Come on, spill the beans.

I think that this will be a good year for e-bikes.

I have had a number of enquiries about this bike since starting this thread earlier today, including one that has been forwarded by eZee from the Taipei show.

I have given all the information that is available so far.

Production will not start until the end of April and at this stage, due to demand from other markets I don't know when it will be available in the UK.

We will not be taking any pre delivery orders until we know the full specification, have a demonstration model and can guarantee delivery.

I will publish more information including full specification and photo of the production model as and when I have it.
