Karoo: 45T, Zephyr-B: 44T at the front.
Rear: both have the same DNP 8-speed LY-3008 cassette 13T-32T

Changing front chain ring for 38-40t should help a little on hills. Worth try especially if higher gears are not being used at present.

My thinking was to fit a 36t (ish) on the rear, so one way or another be it front or rear, altering the gearing will certainly give the helping hand that is required. Obviously front would give the most benefit.

Thanks all for the advice again, one thing I did notice is the 8 speed seems to bottom out at around 30 kph maybe a bit more. This is obviously 5kph above the limit and self propelled. After this the revs become a little much to produce any more speed. Now It's not gonna be very often where I am gonna need more speed than this.. just saying.
