First time ebike rider

Just thought I'd say hi. My new bike should be ready Monday.

I've had an Oxygen Emate CB.

Any tips for a new rider used to road bikes and occasional MTB.

Firstly, welcome to the forum. We're a friendly happy community, so don't be afraid to ask any questions, no matter how trivial you think they are.

My advice would be to stick some puncture resistant tyres on the bike.

Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres are very good. You can buy them with commuter style tread and MTB style tread.
Fixing punctures by the roadside on an electric bike can be a bit more awkward, so anything to minimize having to do this is a win win situation.

Much appreciated. I am hoping to do an 11 mile each way commute. Mainly over fairly undulating terrain. A few steep hills. Hopefully the 15ah battery will see me there and back.
