Hi, I have just decided to sell my sprint after discovering that the battery is at the end of it's life and I can't justify the expenditure on a new one cos I simply don't use it enough. (see my recent thread in the battery FAQ subforum).
Anyhow, I bought this in March/April 2007 and rode it lightly during the summer. Then it wasn't used at all until a few weeks ago when I decided to give it another go and discovered the battery was on the way out. It still has some juice in it but it does not deliver the assistance it once did - it's still ok-ish for my 7 mile round trip, but it did cut out under load yesterday (steep hill!) and is deteriorating fast, so you'd definitely be looking at a new battery fairly imminently.
Bike is in really good nick, has always been garaged, gears and brakes etc seem to work as they should, comes with everything it was sold with - rear rack, computer, dynamo (although I've never actually used this) and it's done around 300 miles in total as shown on the computer, which I've never reset.
Flecc's formula puts it's value , taking into account the need for a new battery, at £390, so I'm happy to consider close offers. Bike is in Bracknell, Berkshire and would need to be collected - probably by car!
