At 80 I have trouble getting on and off my 24"Freego Stepthru....so thought I'd downsize .....Saw this Freegowhisper 20" on ebay. It arrived today, beautiful condition considering it's a 2014 model, which means a full legal Throttle. Trouble is I would like the Seat a bit lower...but as the Pics show........there is a problem....it's a Freego Battery............any Ideas?

If it were the aluminium battery, you could get a shorter one. Replacement plastic batteries are pretty rare. It might be possible to adapt to the aluminium type if you're good with tools.

Also, there were different length plastic batteries. Yours seems to be the optional longer one. If you could find a scrap shorter one, you could get it re-celled. See this photo which shows the top of the battery lower than yours. You could ask E-bikesdirect if they have any of the shorter batteries. They bought up all the Freego stock of spare parts when they closed.

Yes, in the meantime I compared the Freego battery with a Yoshpower battery I have and the Yosh is a lot smaller. I have to change out the Battery baseplate on bike to get it to fit......but looks easy enough....
