I'm not subscribed, so I can't read the article directly. The gist seems to be that we're not buying many ebikes compared with other European countries. As far as I can remember, that's always been the case. If any of you are subscribed, post your comments. Geoff talks about this article here, and he raises some interesting points. It reminds me of all the articles about every single country and region warming up twice as fast as all the other countries and regions.
Are ebike sales slumping, and if so, is it the general economic climate or is the market becoming saturated?
One interesting point that he raises is about how prices go up when there are government subsidies and incentives. We see that happen more obviously with the housing market.
