Giant Express

Hi, I have a Giant Express which I have owned for a couple of years. The bike has never seemed to work properly and now, having been told how to check the motor, I can see that there appears to be an intermittent fault and the front wheel sometimes turns when the pedal is activated and at other times there is little or no reponse. I cannot find a dealer/service agent in the Essex area. Can anyone help?
