Global Postage Programme???

Anyone bought anything using the Global Postage Programme?

It looks like it's some delivery deal linked to eBay. Not sure whether it's stuff bought from US only.

Just wondered if it would make importing bike kit any cheaper

I try and get my bits and bobs from Europe these days, as they've clamped down on individuals paying import taxes from US and China.

It's just another ebay/Paypal/Courier rip-off. Buy goods from the US, most of which, being used and under a certain value wouldn't attract any interest from the C&E anyway, even if they were dutiable.
But no, some bright spark at ebay was appraised of this money-earner by another bright spark at PUS / ExFed / HDL and they thought they would pre-charge punters on duty, thus earning the courier companies (and ebay, and PP) a nice little commission, which added up, isn't so little.
They really are money grabbing, grasping scum, who would sell their own grandmothers down the river.
