GNC for hill climbing

I was wondering if anyone could help me with some advice regarding the GNC kits, especially from the chap in the UK on ebay.
I am looking for a trials type setup with plenty of torque for offroad. Had thought about the 48v brushless but there seem to be doubts about the primary belt drive(ES).The 36v single stage avoids that and would be easier to keep clean. Does the 36v option achieve enough reduction at the chainwheel ?
I am also looking for a cheap offroad bike, pref with full suspension, something to fit the kit to, light enough to carry up Ben Nevis, strong enough to make it back down. Is there any kind of rating system for suitability ? There already are bikes on Ben Nevis of course but they only ever go half the way up in a gondola!

All what you read about belt problems is from those who want to put 4kw through the motor and ride it like a motorcross bike. You can get the belt drive one in 36v version, which is the same apart from the controller. At 36v and 25 amps I've had no problems with my belt. I ran it with 12S lipos for a bit as well, which didn't seem to bother it. The standard controller is 22amps, so that'll be a bit softer on the motor as well. The climbing power is about the same as a BPM at 40 amps, but it'll go faster down-hill. The weight is also about the same, which would make it relatively heavy to carry up Ben Nevis - about 22 to 26kg for bike, kit and battery.

Thanks D8vey, I'm running the tonaro on 12s peaking about 1300w and am sure it would climb just about anywhere but both us could lose some weight hence the new build. I heard here I think that the 36v single stage motor ran a bit fast for comfort, it's not possible fit a bigger chainwheel?

The chain-wheel can't be increased in size on the smaller kit. It would just about be OK on a 26" wheeled bike with a 11T top gear cassette, and better still on a 29er.
