My Juicy Bike battery (36v 10a) died today, fortunately not far from home, at the age of 3yrs and 3 months ... doesn't owe me anything at all. I must search for bags of gold beneath the settee cushions and try to save money by eating less cake. How does one lay Lithium to rest?

The recycle centre (or the TIP as we used to know it) accepts all sorts of batteries, but I bet d8veh will have you bring it back to life first though !!

Have you checked the battery fuse Tom? Or are you convinced the battery has given its all?

Hi, Bob;
Battery failed on slight hill near home, all lights out - restarted when I turned back and managed a few circuits of the Close. Can't see a fuse on this model but it had a couple of flickering lights left on the handlebar monitor thingy. It's the future loss of cake that upsets me!

Oh dear. Does sound like it needs replacing, unless the charger isn't doing its job... or DaveH has some advice...
