Grease, will any sort do?

I have added a Suntour seat post to my bafang BBs02 converted Trek Hybrid.

Because of my weight I purchased the heaviest spring, when changing them over I realised there was grease on the standard spring but none on the new heavy spring, I need to add some.

Searching Amazon for cycle grease reveals many different sorts. Knowing nothing about grease, can anyone recommend an all round grease that will do for the spring and any other uses I may have in the future.

Any grese will do. It's only to stop noise. Get whatever is cheapest or use whatever you already have.

Yup, as above. whatever is cheapest.
Motoring shops are a good place to get a fair sized tub at minimum cost. specialist bike places sometimes only sel small tubs/tubes and charge you considerably more than a king size tub of motor spec grease like Castrol.
