After hitting a rock very hard with my left crank I managed to snap it clean off the axel. The axle has snapped leaving the crank thread still in the crank.

Is it possible to replace this without needing a whole new motor? The bike is well out of warrently but otherwise running great. I am gutted.

Hopefully there is a solution that doesn't need a whole new motor?

If I do need a motor where is the best place to get hold of one?

i have a good look around but i can not find a replacement motor for sale even on the german sites and bugger all on ebay.

last time i seen them for sale they was £800 i hope peter has a knackered motor with a replacement drive shaft that can be reused or the hole bike could be a right off.

you could ask martin at ebike shop if he can get a new replacement motor if that is where you bought the bike from other wise will tell you to **** off lol.

it wont be cheap!
