I need some help to see if this is salvagable. I have a small fire on my BMS, i have no idea what happened until flames and smoke started coming out of my bag, but my BMS is pretty singed.

This is a picture of the BMS, ignore the soldering since this was all redone properly. This is pre damage. The B- wire in the picture (top left) isn't attached anymore as the heat must have been hot enough to melt the solder, and the black things on the left of the BMS have cracked.

I still get a reading on the turnigy, so the batterys are fine, and the bms obvioulsy works to a certain degree.

What do those black things do, do i need them, i.e. can i creep home with them broken as i have enough juice left. Or will i definately need a new BMS.

Oh, nasty!

Yes new BMS needed...

I would disconnect the BMS before trying to use the battery. Something has either shorted out or pulled too much current. Check the individual cell voltages to make sure there are no failures or cells that are too low in voltage...
