Another lardy guy who needs to get some exercise saying hello. Loads of hills around here so need some help! Awaiting delivery of my Giant bike and hoping to lose a few pounds before my 65th at the end of October.

Welcome Taz. We used to live in Thame, the cycle path to Princes Risborough was a favourite ride - pretty flat though. What model Giant did you buy?

Hi,
I bought a Giant Twist Express RS1 W which I got for £695 as 'new old stock'. Unfortunately prior to dispatch, the dealer found that battery was faulty due to length of storage so when I eventually get the bike (any day now I hope) it will come with a brand new battery.

That's a good price. I'm not sure it's the most powerful of motors though so you should get plenty of exercise on the steeper hills. Let us know how you get on when it arrives.
