My first message. Both my wife and I are keen cyclists. My wife got her first pedelec ( a conversion by me ) about 5 years ago. It was a transformative experience. We can now cycle together for longer more interesting rides. She has 'upgraded' ( another story ) to a Kalkhoff Tasman which ( when working ) has been perfect for her. As the hills get steeper I may be joining her soon. I am tempted by the new generation of assisted road bikes. I still manage 100 miles a week - legs only - but the time is coming when assistance is required - to keep up with my wife!

Hi welcome to the site
A torque sensor bike would be great with you being a good cyclist still

Welcome

And yes, if you already have a nice road bike you like then perhaps the woosh td mid drive kit would be a good option . This seems to be best option for road bikes and woosh are reliable and have a good reputation

Keep your bike and get the torque sensing behaviour that suits keen cyclists
