Hole in my Scott

Hi all I have just noticed this hole on my frame should it have a cover and what's it for any help appreciated

imo cable routing for a dropper post and yes you should get a cover for it as you dont want water n crud getting in there.

Mine has cables there and the cover was in the bag of bits that came with the bike

I think so.. it came with the post already fitted so I assume it's that

i would email scott and see if they can send you one out i should of thought that they would send one out as long as you can prove proof of purchase or otherwise contact your dealer and ask them to get hold of one for you

Have you looked in your bag of bits? There were all sorts in mine.

Thanks gubbins I don't have one spare lock ring but no other bits

Would like to see how you would route the seat post cable back up the main tube
I am looking for a dropper post and was considering a wireless one problem is £250 thought was a bit much.

I have contacted the dealer who gave me great service when I bought it mail order so I'll see what they say.

Put some tape over it in the meantime

yep looks good just have to figure out how to route the cable

it just goes over the motor and up the down tube to the handle bars but that is only for a stealth dropper post where the cable is at the bottom of the post.

if you can spend a bit more then get the electric one

Hmm still trying to justify 250 think ill have take the engine outer casing off and have a look at routing also not to sure how sturdy the button is on the electric one as is only held on by a rubber band
