No vid/photos, but had a great ride today and topped the old karma bank up too...13.8mph average over 35miles going up to the tower in Lyme Park, Disley...put an old dear's chain back on and adjusted her front derailleur, gave two lads a go on the bike that convinced them to look up BBS02 conversions and helped a gent that had obviously had a stroke in the past find his way back to a train station...now sat at home with a bottle of Despo feeling happy inside:cool:...I might look scary as I pull up at 6'7", 18 stone and shaved head, but someone helped me once in the middle of nowhere and I am determined to pay back the favour

Its always good too help a fellow cyclist
Especially if your out in the sticks
I always hope that if the shoe was on the other foot someone would help me if stranded .

I see it as my mission whilst I'm out Paul...nothing as good as the warm feeling of helping a fellow biker, be it powered or not.

54 miles today out to Surrey Hills via Leith and Holmbury Hill, Shere, Nutley Park./estate, Wotton, Ranmore and into Nurbury Park and Headley before setting off back to Crawley. No pics nothing to photo really 80% off road mostly tree lined BW's, woods, and heathland with yet more trees as well as the parks which had loads of trees. Did my good deed of the day by helping a frumpy middle aged woman to get back on her GG, the animal wasn't a horse but a great lump of a cob he was mahoosive.
Hopefully out again tomorrow heading off to M23/M25 Merstham way and over to Banstead Heath.

Actually had some nice weather and free time last week so managed a decent 220 miles over 3 days.

Coed Y Brenin today, did the 'Dragons Back' first (no pictures) and then Tarw Du (pictures below). An hour and a half for each trail, both are approx 20K. Dragons Back is a red route, Tarw Du is a black route. Used virtually all of the battery, but a good afternoons ride and dodged the rain showers. Didn't see any other e-bikes, and got looked down noses at quite a few times, but I am learning to ignore it.

Bike Park Wales tomorrow lunchtime, never been there but I hear it's good.

Enduro race entered at FoD middle October...they have an e-bike category - yip yip...:D:D:D

Oh yeah, while it's not exactly an e-bike, it still has 2 wheels and utilises electricity...so two days ago I was doing this with Guy Martin (see end photo)...IMAG4590.jpg IMAG4593.jpg IMAG4596.jpg IMAG4599.jpg IMAG4597.jpg IMAG4601.jpg IMG-20160828-WA0003.jpg IMAG4590.jpg IMAG4593.jpg IMAG4596.jpg IMAG4599.jpg IMAG4597.jpg IMAG4601.jpg IMG-20160828-WA0003.jpg IMAG4590.jpg IMAG4593.jpg IMAG4596.jpg IMAG4599.jpg IMAG4597.jpg IMAG4601.jpg IMG-20160828-WA0003.jpg

Use my Orbea Keram MTB 30 every week around Swinley forest - as its just a couple of minutes cycle from my home. Very busy up there today as there was some Enduro event going on, so the dedicated purpose built MTB trails were backed up.

At 1:36 there was a nice e-bike moment when a couple of guys resting after struggling up a steep climb said "there's one of those e-bike things", as I cruised up past them without breaking sweat.

And at 5:20 when I was able to overtake a few people up a long incline. At 5:38 you can get a sense of how much faster I was travelling uphill than other riders.

Tried the Big Bens on loose gravel yesterday, does that mean I'm an off roader too now? :D Not convinced by the grip. Great on sand though.
