Hub Motor Connector

I have recently purchased a couple of e-bikes for me and my wife. One issue i have with the City Runner I have for my wife is the pathetic plug and socket that links the front hub drive to the main wiring loom. Does anyone know or recommend an 8 way connector that clips or screws together that will give easy access to the removal of the front wheel. At the moment the connector is taped together which both looks naff and is not weather proof. Before anyone says, take it back where you got it from, I have no confidence in them doing a proper job. has anyone got any ideas.
